I am a summer guy, through-and-through. There are just a few things I like about the fall. The hiking is great, for one thing; I like the crunch of the leaves, and the foliage makes for spectacular views. And everything pumpkin hits the stores: pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin beer, and that's all good.

And that's really all I enjoy about it. "Sweater weather," my ass. I prefer my T-shirt weather, thank you very much. Fall is damp, it's cold, and it gets dark before I'm even home from work. Yes, there's football, which I can kinda-sorta get into, but all three of the teams that I follow are bombing this season, so there goes that.

At least in winter, there's some comfort in knowing that spring is around the corner.

Winter is meh for me; Autumn is my favorite season for all of these reasons.

As someone who cannot stand temperatures above about 75 degrees, fall is nice.

And you have to wear shoes...sometimes. :)

...only if there's snow and it's at least ankle-deep.

Fall is nice when you drive a boosted car. The temperature is still decent enough to cruise with windows open and the cool air makes a boosted engine quite happy.

Winter FTMFW, can't wait to hit the slopes. I don't hate Summer but it is my 4th favorite season.

What's summer like where you are? Summer is too hot here. Autumn is by far my favorite, especially early autumn. Days are cool, nights start touching cold but not too cold...it's perfect. Spring is almost as good, Autumn gets the edge to me because it tapers off to winter rather than summer.

Summer in Virginia is mostly in the 70s and 80s, which is where I like it, but it occasionally gets up into the 90s, which is too damn hot. But I'm admittedly a beach bum, which may have something to do with my preference for summer.

This. Exactly. I weigh 170 but sweat several weight classes above that. Can't stand the summer, and I never manage to make it to the beach more than once anyhow.

Gimme fall weather for months.

I don't actually sweat much. At all.

It's a lot of why I hate the heat. It doesn't take long before my sentences start blending together.

T-shirt and light-jacket-in-the-morning weather is my preferred time of year.

Also, motors like cool, dense air.

Well if your summer is that cool, I don't blame you. We regularly hit triple digits.

Amen. I don't like having to wear a jacket going to work. As long as it's 60-ish, the Seven doesn't require a jacket. 40's in the morning suck, especially when the afternoon is 70+ and the jacket gets to flap about in the passenger seat.

I'm still trying to find a state that remains 65 degrees all year around....
